Entertainers....Front and Centre!!! We are searching for Performers for the 8th ANNUAL ROSSWOOD MUSIC JAMBOREE! It takes place August 21st, 2004 at the Rosswood Community Grounds. (located approximately 42 km north of Terrace on Kalum Lake Drive) We require entertainers for both the children and main stage. It's Jammin' Time

Environment: Garbage, clean-up, out-houses (cleaning and stocking with T.P.  May involve some pre-jamboree work...aim is for 10 people on 3 shifts  Minimum of 2 people on at all times.  Minimum shift is 4 hours. Camping: Maintain safe, clean and quiet campsite.  Pre-jamboree work will likely be required. Make rounds.  Need extra people during peak hours.  Teams of 2 Hospitality: Dish washing, food preperation/service and high energy!  Provide performers with healthy nourishment.  All foodstuffs are donated...MANY THANKS!  Bakers/donaters, cleaners/servers. Need extra help for supper.  Open 10 am to 10 pm.  Requires 6-9 people to operate. Gatekeepers:  Admission - cheerful yet firm attitudes required.  1-2 supervisors on at all times.  2 runners to be in attendance at gate with the Supervisor. Parking: Flag people, radio communications and general information to public.  Requires approximately 12 volunteers. Security: Radio communications, maintain safe and friendly environment and check passes.  Friendly bt FIRM attitudes are necessary Info Volunteer Booth:  Provide info to public and volunteers.  Need 2 people in booth at all times with 4 people ready to spell each other off during peak hours Childrens area:  Assist co-ordinator with administration of activities and entertainment.  Help children locate and access suitable activities and events.  A mini-festival in itself!  Needs ideas, supplies and people to bring them to life.  Need 2 supervisors roaming the site as well as event/booth workers. Co-ordinators and shift supervisors:  Supervise volunteers and co-ordinate tasks.  Pre-jamboree participation absolutely required. Festival technical services:  Set up sound system, lights, stage hands etc.  Need the electronic minded with good attitudes to help set up, trouble shoot and to help moniter. Grounds:  Pre-jamboree and post-jamboree set-up/breakdown and clean up. First Aid:  Must possess a valid first aid certificate.  Attend to festival first aid needs.
